Trailer: Star Stealer

Synopsis: 20-something Kania can no longer afford college tuition as her once rich dad going bankrupt and suffering a stroke. Now, as a sole breadwinner, she starts work at a bubble tea shop in the mall once owned by her dad. There, she meets a motley crew of characters who become new friends as well as the antagonistic mall manager, Ibu Evy. The story set-up revolves around the celebrity craze culture, a topic that is highly relatable to young Indonesians. The series features a group of youngsters hustling for money, an issue many young viewers can identify with. Despite their thieving, the comedic tone portrays the youngsters as resourceful and likeable. In the end, they use their skills to fight for the powerless, lending a crusade to their mischief and a redemptive arc to their story.
